Radha Nair
She sees every wedding as a canvas. Now she wants to be the one holding the flowers.
Her story
Radha grew up in T. Nagar, Chennai, the daughter of a flower vendor who supplied jasmine strings to temples and wedding halls. She spent her childhood threading marigolds and arranging jasmine in steel buckets before sunrise. While other children slept, she learned the language of flowers.
She wants to move beyond supply into design — event floristry, mandap décor, table arrangements. She has a natural eye for colour and proportion. Her elder sister's wedding, which she secretly decorated with ₹800 worth of flowers and coconut leaves, was photographed and shared widely in her colony. Three families asked who did the décor.
The GiftASkill Floristry & Décor course will teach her the professional vocabulary she lacks — floral mechanics, wire work, event-scale logistics, and pricing. Her goal after certification is to partner with one event hall in T. Nagar for referrals. She is 22, talented, and ready. She just needs someone to believe in her first.
